Keep on moving don’t stop no I typed this one to the beat of 1989 hit song by soul || soul if you don’t know I highly suggest you listen to that tune.
Ok you may have guessed from the title of this post, it’s about moving, and I’m talking about literally moving your body. Simple and profound the body loves to move. You don’t have to sweat it out on cross trainer or do an hour of Zumba to get those happy hormones in gear, you just gotta move that fine body of yours.
On this particular day and to be honest on other days that I’ve felt sluggish, damn right lazy, tired for no apparent reason, I have found a great secret. The cure, the remedy, movement therapy baby and it’s totally free!
On days like this I put on any kind of clothing that is comfortable and that does not arouse to much suspicion that I’m an absolute mentalist and go outside and walk in any direction my feet and soul leads me.
Sometimes ten minutes does the trick to shake off the yuk lazy bitch feeling, sometimes an hour. One thing that is certain upon my return I always feel better. Even more so it totally pulls me back into my body and present moment the sweet spot of life.
Today’s challenge for you or any day you experience such feelings of lethargy I say put on best comfort shoes on and take a walk on the wild side!
